The
Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center has envisioned and offers to its patients a new, more comfortable and dignified mammography gown. It's functional, looks and feels better on, and can make a world of difference to a woman who is anxious about undergoing a mammogram. We have a wonderful new center here designed to offer the most advanced diagnostic services to women in a setting that's compassionate and sensitive to their needs,
that why are we still using such antiquated gowns? We need a gown that ensures privacy and makes a woman feel comfortable.

WindberCare management team conceived the idea of a far more comfortable and modest mammography gown, and promptly set out to direct the design of prototypes for the gowns. The result of this labor of love is the newly-patented J.M. WindberCare® gown.
Two different teams of designers have worked on the project from conception to production. One of the team members, Jessica Walls, designed the original pastel, floral print for the fabric, a washable, soft, cotton-poly blend. "When I was asked asked to design the fabric, I didn't want to just pick flowers that were pretty. I thought I'd rather use flowers that specifically symbolize strength and getting better."
Walls took a very personal interest in her work. "I remember the night my mother learned she had breast cancer. She felt so hopeless." Instead, Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center's team want women who wear the J.M. WindberCare® gowns to feel empowered.
